I mean, tbh, summer is still here. Today is the solstice, but it's also 18 degrees. I just checked the weather app. They say it's gonna rain in 5 minutes; I'll believe it when I see it.

I kept thinking I had to write an XOXO post, then not writing it, then not writing anything because that one had to be next. But it doesn't. It was the last XOXO. It might take awhile for me to get my feelings down on paper.

Today is Sunday, which means I made a zine.

Rather, today, I FINISHED a zine, a zine I started two weeks ago, actually. Sunday Zine Club jam #2 has one more week left. (Join us!) I made most of this zine back at the beginning of September, but I needed to do some fact checking, and I wanted to colour it IRL, not digital. I didn't do any of that. It's hard to make myself do zine stuff if I'm not doing it live.

On August 3, I downloaded My Little Universe (from another mobile game ad! they got me!), and it's been basically all I've thought about ever since. I'm on the 9th planet, and it's getting a little too grind-y for me now, and my brain has let go of the hyperfixation. Cross your fingers I can get something done this week.

Tomorrow, my TV hyperfixation returns after an extra long hiatus (16 months good god I thought we wouldn't make it), and then I'm going to the dentist for a crown on Wednesday, and school has started again, so I've got a half a dozen new students on new schedules, and it doesn't feel like I'll ever make anything again.

But I finished a zine today. I learned how to use a green screen in OBS. And here's another blog post. Just continue, right?
