#Puzzmo Rapt

I don't use Spotify, but I am on Puzzmo, and they just released their "Rapt." (Go here to see yours.)

I'm a C-c-c-codebreaker

I made a video today with my commentary, but the highlights:

"You're a C-c-c-codebreaker Cracking core sets and tough clues? *So* satisfying." (It really is!)

Typeshift: 3.57 words per minute
Cross|word: 1,365 answers filled

Contributions to global totals
3,354 of 140 million words found
140 of 25 million puzzles solved

My favourite games: Cross|word, Typeshift, Wordbind

I don't play every day, as you can tell. Streaks aren't great for my brain, so I try to avoid getting sucked in. And there are so many games on the site now; not all of them are my jam. I like the ones about words, obvs.

This summer, Puzzmo put out a call for video creators to join their insider program, and I signed up. Mostly, I've been posting solves (all my Cross|words are in this playlist; the Typeshifts are shorts now that YouTube has increased the runtime). And it's proven true that once you have to do something, it's less fun. Not ~no fun, but I've caught myself thinking, "I should be filming this."

Next year, I really want to make more videos ~about puzzles. The What has been easy to film, but I want to talk more about the Why. Because, like I explained in this video from a few months back, crosswords make my brain happy.
