BC had an election last month, and it didn't go well. It wasn't a disaster—the incumbent centre-left NDP party held power, but just barely. The Conservative party had their best showing in 72 years. That's 1952. The Conservatives have made a comeback in provincial elections across Canada, particularly in the years since 2020. A lot of white people are aggrieved by change, and they want it stopped.
This week, the same happened in the United States. Canada will vote for prime minister next year, and I think we're going to see the Conservative comeback complete.
We're not getting through the next few years, this hard swing right into conservatism (both small-C and big-C), without each other. We need to build community. We need to learn how to fight.

Then reach out to people. We do this 'til we free us.
