Just a list of some good things in my life right now:
- Logged into Disney Plus for the first time in a while, and they've added Due South. I never got into this show the first time around (1, it was probably on a cable channel we didn't get; 2, I was annoyed by how often he wore the red serge; and 3, Paul Gross was EVERYWHERE in the 1990s, completely overexposed and hard to avoid) but I finally watched the pilot a few months ago, so I'm trying it again now.
- It's funny because I've also been listening to a lot of '90s music recently—actually most of this last year, I think. Currently on repeat is Our Lady Peace's first album, Naveed. And then 911 this week used Radiohead's "High and Dry." It's not the cool answer, by The Bends is still my favourite of their albums.
- I was never a horse girl, but I love Przewalski's horse.
- Something I look forward to reading every month is Reo Eveleth's newsletter. It's called 〰️ in 〰️ out 〰️ because they write about consuming and producing and how those two actions are connected, in a way that really speaks to me.
- Sunday Zine #9 ends next Sunday, so you've still got time to make a zine. The theme is SLOW. I finished mine last week on the stream, and I still haven't uploaded it!
- It's April 20, which means it's almost the end of the month and I still haven't written about my trip to New York City at the beginning of the month. The videos from Crossword Con, the reason I was there, are already available to watch.
- I've been trying new brain meds for a couple of months, and they're not working. Life kinda sucks, and I feel like I wasted a whole holiday weekend. But the good thing is that we can cross this medication off the list and try something new.
- The good thing is that we get another chance.
